"L'orizzonte materico di un canto" is an electroacoustic piece composed in 2016, which investigates the possible musical and aesthetic implications of a process of concatenated operations of diffusion and re-recording of audio samples through different solid materials. For the Festival AFEKT 2017 in Tallin (ET) the Estonian artist Paul Klooren created a visual, following the same compositional principles. The result of this collaboration is an audio-visual work in which sounds and images seem to belong to a different plane than the visible and audible one: the interstitial plane of the Matter that, apparently silent, surrounds us.
